1000r grinding when engaging 1st from neutral?

What could be causing a situation like this? Any help would be appreciated.

If it is more of a "clunk" than a "grind" I would say its normal. My 954 is much louder going into gear from neutral than my zx9r was. I understand it to be of no consequence.

How high is your idle set? If it's set too high, it may be having a hard time engaging from neutral. It's normal that after break-in you have to readjust the idle, I'd double check it.
