Repsol mod on my 929

I did this the other day, figured I'd share. The "parts" were free. They are the actual stickers from the Repsol 1000RR. I'm not a sticker guy but I like them and these are the only stickers I've added (unless you count the wheel stripes as stickers). What do you think?

if you can't convince them, confuse them.

It's kinda big. I might put those on mine. The painter offered to initially but at the time I was on Bridgestones and it seemed dumb.

And then there's this asshole...

my local dealer ordered 10 Repsols and had to find 5 more to sell. The few that actually made it to the showroom all had the stickers on there but had Pirelli's on them.

Does having the Michelin Man on your fender increase traction?

Re: Repsol mod on my 929

no if anything it would make it slower with that extra weight. Not to mention if he only put it on one side of the guard it would put the whole bike off balance and he wouldnt be able to ride with no hands.
heheh

Re: Repsol mod on my 929

I have the same sticker on my race plastics so does that make my SV a Repsol replica?

Is a paradigm worth 20 cents?

Re: Repsol mod on my 929

I like it. Spices things up a little. Of course I'm a big fan of Michelin so that helps.
