'01 929rr recall

I was wandering if anyone knew of any recalls on my 01 929rr. I heard about a clutch recall.

If you have had the bike since new, then yes. If not, call a Honda dealer, give them your VIN and they should be able to check if the service's have been done. I don't know Honda's policy on charging for TSB's. Most car dealer don't charge for them.

Re: '01 929rr recall

My dealer (and I think all did) put punch dents on the right side. I believe it was on the upper shock bracket - part of the frame. my 2000 had two, one for the clutch, and one for the fuel line.

Team Honda - well sorta...

TSB's are not the same as recalls.
A recall is free after the warrenty expires.

Re: '01 929rr recall

Wasn't this for bike manufactured before 11/00 and any one built after that were corrected and did not require a fix or am I mistaken. My 929 was built 3/01 and was under the impression no work was needed,am I wrong?

Re: '01 929rr recall

Mine was built 7/01 and still needed the clutch basket recall.
