Re: MAXXIS TIRES?

FYI YMMV RSVP

...no, don't use them, and from what I've read, there are plenty of better choices.

Re: MAXXIS TIRES?

Yes, I do have a set.

I consider them very close to my Pilots. *As for mileage reports, I only have 350 miles on them, but will be biking to CO for cycle fest on 8/22. *That trip will consist of 2000+ miles, so i'll have more on that when I return on 8/26.

As for canyon riding, I have a lot of confidence and trust in them. *They stick really well and I haven't slid them out yet. *No trackday report, but i'm sure they would be fine. *For the money, I don't think you can beat them. *I plan on doing some twistie riding in CO, so i'll be able to comment on COLD weather riding. *Remember, it's 105+ here in PHX, so warming up tires isn't really an issue.

Re: MAXXIS TIRES?

Are these the blingy colored ones now available for making 'street art' as you do your smiley face burnouts?

I think those are retreads made from aircraft tire rubber.
Don't think I want to go there, bling factor aside.
