New member and a dilemma
Just want to say hello and thank you for a wonderful resource.
Having scoured this forum for answers to some of my immediate questions, I realise that I may have an Antique FireBlade in my garage. I love the thing dearly. She is 13 years old, her rectifier did short out but I lovingly fixed it. Her thermostat is seized open, but a new one is on it's way from the stealership. (damn, they want $60 for a ****ing thermostat!!)
Whilst at the stealership, I sat on an '06 1krr. Nice. But I do want to think about an RC51. My SO says "sleep on it", so that's a good sign. It seems that there is a brand new Honda in my future.
Oh, well. I am determined to ride the () out of the '93 this season, and maybe qualify for a new bike by the end of the year. She just has the cutest twin perfectly round 5-1/4" headlights. OMG I'm stuck in the ....

If you're willing to wait a couple seasons I would see what the '08 Blade has to offer. But if you want a new RC51 you'll have to move quickly.
And then there's this asshole...
