Setting Cyclinder Trim on the PC3

Hey.

Can someone tell me what the trim setting on the PC3 does. I had my bike custom mapped a while ago & the trim was left at zero everywhere. Is there a baseline setting for the CBR954 or does it matter?

Am hoping the Sook has had some dealing with this.
