side cover replacement

so i finally got the left side engine cover and put it on. i used the honda high temp liquid gasket and it says 3 days for perfect sealing. this can't be right, the layer of liquid gasket after tightening the case cover must be so thin. does it really take 3 days?

Re: side cover replacement

Somehow I doubt it but I've always been a big fan of following directions on the expensive stuff.
