New 954RR owner w/ an undertail question

Whats up guys. I picked up a MINT 02 954RR with 1500 miles a few weeks ago, and just got the plate for her. The problem is, it came with a Texas Fairing Undertail and I have no way of mounting a license plate to it right now. I dont see any bolts. The previous owner had 2 holes drilled through the bottom of the battery bucket with 2 L brackets to hold the plate, and I tried that with my old bikes plate. When sitting on it, from behind, you cannot even see the plate and when I've ridden with the bike like that I get paranoid about cops b/c its pretty obviously illegal. Do any of you have this undertail kit? If so what have you came up with as for mounting your plate? I'd rather stay away from swingarm / side mounting it, because that just looks shittastic haha Thanks. I'll try and find a nice rear-end shot of it for those who havent seen the undertail before.

Guess we cant insert pics here. Anyways, thats the best pic I can find. That is WITH a plate on there, mounted to the L brackets attached to the battery box.

Welcome to the site... Good thinking on your part to try and get the tag visible... Being an LEO, I can tell you that a vehicle (car or bike) with a properly displayed tag will get a shorter look than one that isnt where it belongs.

That said, I have no experience with that undertail, so Im not much help...
