929 Needs some help

This spring I tried starting my 929 and had a dead battery. I put the charger on and waited till I couldnt no more and tried starting it. It turned over fine, then smoke came out from up front and my dash didnt work anymore. I got another dash, but still nothing. Honda told me I probaly fried my ecm or brain box so I got one of them also still nothing. I pulled all the plastic and have gone through almost the entire harness looking for burned wires. No fuses are blown, the fuel pump works when I put 12v to it, but doesnt turn on with the key. I dont have spark either. I have checked all the 12v relays, tip sensor, kickstand sensor, and on and on with nothing. The bike turns over fine, but that is about it. Anyone know anything about these things?

Re: 929 Needs some help

It's most likely completely dead and you should get a new bike. I'll buy yours for 50 bux

J/K - I think 9uno9 from the neverland ranch has a good guess.

No this tire hunted Mary down! This tire murdered Mary!

Re: 929 Needs some help

I had the same problem with my 929 and it was because of a bad ignition.
