190/50 vs 190/55

would there be any benefit to running a 190/55 rear tire over 190/50?

Quicker turn-in and more contact patch while leaned over due to the taller profile.

And then there's this asshole...

The Pirelli Diablo Corsas and Super Corsas are excellent tires.

how quickly do they warm up on the street for spirited riding? and/or how would they compare to my stock bridgestones BT012's and/or Pilot Powers?

is this the tire you are speaking of?

and lastly

which compound is recommended for street use? SC1 SC2 SC3?

there, that should keep you busy

Re: 190/50 vs 190/55

well, I decided to make it easy on myself and bought a set of Pilot Powers 190/50, 120/70. Guess I'll wait until they release their 190/55 to do the switch. Thanks for the help

Re: 190/50 vs 190/55

The 06' Kawasaki ZX-10R comes stock with 55 profile rear tires. Kind of an oddball size tire so they will be more expensive.
