Yes. Anyone who doesn't but claims it doesn't make any difference is blowing smoke or hasn't ridden on a bike that is properly balanced.

I had new tires put on at a local dealer and paid to have them mounted and balanced. After getting them to remount the rear tire (they put it rotating the wrong way, I know geniuses), I had a vibration at about 70mph. Upon futher inspection, I noticed there were no weights at all on the wheels. I brought them to a different shop and had them balanced. Long story short, no more vibration. I definately believe tires need to be balanced. Just my opinion.

Yep, the general concensus here is that tires must be balanced unless they are for a lawnmower, bicycle, wheel barrow, or some other slow moving apperatus.

Get your tires balanced.

thanks bros, I have always balanced mine in the past and was curious if anything had changed, oh and yes, I did get this set balanced
