Need advice

This weekend I am going to change my front brake pads but I have never done it before. Does anybody know a link for a walk thru. I do not have a rearstand, will this be a problem? Sorry to sound like a mechanical rookie, in the process of not being one. Thanks for any info.

First thing to get is an official manual (Helm Inc) which will give you the steps, torque settings and what to locktite
