Re: Looking for small LEDs...

I have a set of skarkskinz on the way and wanted to find some LED lights for blinkers and a brake light. I was hopeing to find some very small ones that I could velcro on & off. I have seen some small LEDs on a 954 at the gap last year, but don't know where to get them...

thanks for any help you can give.

Re: Looking for small LEDs...

a few of my friends have been using the glowing windshield washer nozzles from the import cars, they look pretty on cars but neat as turns...

I don't kill flies but I like to mess with their minds. I hold them above globes. They freak out and yell, 'Whoa, I'm way too high!'

I have these on the 54 and they work great.

Re: Looking for small LEDs...

NICE LED tail light and plate bracket...I used this on my NSR250....sweet and CHEAP at $45.00 It is designed to mount under the tailsection of race plastics. It is very good quality and the guys at Tyga are great to deal with

Re: Looking for small LEDs...

Another popular electronics place is Digi-Key. Not sure what the web address is, but they have some great prices.

Not sure if you looked yet, but if you check out the "My Bike" link you can see what I did with the LED's in my Sharkskinz.

Forwarning, LED's are quite directional, be sure to look at the specs and get the brightest and the LED's that offer the widest viewing angle. Even with doing that, mine are very hard to see during the day.

Good luck!

Those front turn signals are a nice touch, very original. How did you mount them?

Thanks for the compliment!
I drilled all the holes just big enough to fit the LED's into, wired them on the back side, and then went crazy with some two part epoxy.

Re: Looking for small LEDs...

I enjoy extended rides and some overnights. This is how I dealt with the back end. The ZenRail's also protect the body work from scratches from luggage. I got the LEDs from a car parts store.
