Re: Know of any sweet frame sliders?

Looks too small around... I'd put more trust in the LP ones. I'd like to get something else though... I've looked at Sickshooter Motorcycle Parts and Accessories, Sixshooter motorcycle parts, Sixshooter, Firearm Theme Motorcycle parts and accessories for Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Ducati, Harley, Harley Davidson, and Custom Motorcycles but they only make the gun barrel sliders, and they look kinda sketchy.

Place looks like a slam shop from East LA. Order some from Cal-sportbike.com or Chaparral. Knee Draggers is a good place too.

Re: Know of any sweet frame sliders?

Intuitive. I've crashed tested them, as have others here, and they've held up well.

Re: Know of any sweet frame sliders?

What do you guys think of these? Supposed to keep the bike from spinning due to the shape of its design.... maybe.

Re: Know of any sweet frame sliders?

They look like roller skate wheels.

But, a good frame slider WILL rotate around the bolt it is attached with. Even my LP's do.

Re: Know of any sweet frame sliders?

get the sato cut style.
here they are on my 06 blade
notice that instead of a true hole you have to cut a half moon in the fairing

Re: Know of any sweet frame sliders?

Maybe far enough so the engine covers don't get damaged

Re: Know of any sweet frame sliders?

then wouldnt they be called engine cover sliders?
actually
they stick out farther than the pics show. the engine covers are well protected. i went with these because the bike shop that put them on had an 05RR that went down with these on and all that happened was broken mirror, broken turn signal, peg, and scuffed tail.

it definetly is better than a no cut bracket being pushed into the engine cover or water jacket. after seeing what happenes with no cut sliders on the hooligan bike tech website no cuts are out of the question

Re: Know of any sweet frame sliders?

my intuitives stick out probably less than that. I'm not worried.

I've installed Freestyle Ingenuity sliders on an F4i. those are the only ones I've seen that will actually keep the covers off the ground. but they are about 5 or 6 inches long and look rediculous. I bet they would also cause more damage than save in a high speed low side.

if you can't convince them, confuse them.
