Maybe the right thing to do would be to put it out of its misery. Horrible!

Re: Look at this beauty!!!!!

he only *barely* redeemed himself here:

Buyer:

"Hi I live right outside of the Colony and was interested in the bike. I am looking for my first bike but I don't think a bike with 20,000 miles is really what i am looking for. I was wondering if you were also selling any of your other bikes or know a good deal I could get in order to get a good starter bike?"

Seller:

"....Anyway, if you are new to riding, quit looking for 900-1000cc sportbikes right now!! Quit teasing yourself, and get something less capable, and less prone to get you in trouble. In fact, even today's 600cc sportbikes are BRUTALLY fast, and could rival the 1000cc bikes of only 6-7 years ago. Look for a Suzuki SV650, as that bike has a decent amount of power and quite a bit of torque, and can be modded later down the road to handle better than 99% of the sportbikes out there. Sorry if I'm shattering your dreams a little, but late model 1000cc sportbikes and 'starter bike' should NEVER be used together!"

I was wondering that too, I was also thinkin maybe running at 20 psi doing 40mph stoppies may have done that?
(gotta start out with a lower psi till your good enough to put it to 32psi and roll em out at buck+ ?)

It is hideous though...that crash cage sucks and the rear tail looks horridly tweaked...if your gonna stunt it, at least sell the front fairing on ebay and make it a streetfighter, or be a jackass and drive around a bike that looks like shiet. I mean if you have to tell the world your a stunna via use of zipties...it's prolly better off to sell

why put off today what you can wake up late and forget to do tomorrow.

Re: Look at this beauty!!!!!

So, do you guys have that kind of money? Not prying. I am just always amazed at all the kids that can thrash $10,000 motorcycles all the time. I wish I was "flush" like that.

not sure who you mean by you guys but I can assure you that my $$ is spent on better things

But as for what I observe of those that do:
- a 10k bike, post minor lowside/cosmetics is now 2200$ from ins.co.
- BONUS! you get another 10k from state farm to go buy a new one (or pay the note off and cash out)
- I haven't heard of the man showing up at a xsba show or Lakeland checking vin#'s yet, but Im sure it has occured at some point.
- leo's are getting wiser about suspect vin#'s, and acetone vin checks are becoming more of 'the norm'

But yes, there are people that will dump their 10k bike doing something stupid, and rather then claim it, will think they should then go stunt it, and either then report it as whatever...or it will just get stolen in it's beat state. Whole host of options there, but there are very few people I know that consistently buy new 10k bikes to stunt. You wouldn't want that anyway cause it takes awhile for the stunt aftermarket to catch up with cages, rails, tails, etc.

why put off today what you can wake up late and forget to do tomorrow.

Just went to a stunt show at Firebird and there was a kid on a busa pullin tricks , not many (bike's too big), but stoppies, wheelies, highchair and a few others where on the list.

Haven't we seen that bike a few times on eBay now? Either that guy can't get rid of it, or it is changing hands over and over.

Yes - I do have that kind of money. And....it's all going to kids, house, pool, pets, new SUV (wife HAD to have it), GAS, GAS, GAS, GAS.....and finally...by baby - my 954! She is last though- because there isn't enough for her like I would like there to be.

Those kids DON'T have that kind of money. Their Daddy does. He is too busy with work or boinking the secretary to pay attention to little Johnny. So...he buys little johnny a rocket that he can't ride. Then...daddy buys little Johnny a casket. Idiots........
