Get a set of Heli-Bar clip-ons, that deal on eBay involves drilling mounting holes through your top triple clamp.

Re: Getting rid of stock clipons

What's the main reason for you wanting to get rid of the stock clipons? If it's just the numbness in your hands, just get a heavier set of bar ends. That will help quite a bit.

Re: Getting rid of stock clipons

yes just the numbness in my hands i lean on the bars quite a bit and it can be very annoying. you think by adding heavier bar end this will eliminate numbness?

Re: Getting rid of stock clipons

It will help. Also, don't lean so hard on your wrists. Keep them straight instead of bending them and grip the tank with your knees. Doing that next to the heavier bar ends will cut back on the numbness bigtime.

Re: Getting rid of stock clipons

Put a throttle boss on the throttle, with that you just rest your wrist on the throttle. Their about $10 cheap.
