PCIII USB Installed Yesterday

I installed the PCIII yesterday. My bike is mostly stock, with a Devil high mount 1/2 system. I did notice a smoother throtle especially below 3k. Is it worth the money to put a PC on a stock bike? In my opinion............No. I guess I will have to do the only right thing and buy a HTEV eliminator, mod the airbox, and get a custom dyno map. I will keep you posted.

Re: PCIII USB Installed Yesterday

Hi Atomicpunk,

what map did you load ?

I've used a PC3USB on my 954 when it was mostly stock and was real happy with the improvement in throttle response and modest performance gains - just sharpened everything up.

Now that I've installed a K&N air filter and Viper Race Can I'm trying to find a map that suits my needs (Dynojet doesn't have one for the Viper). The bike is currently running M110-515 for a Euro 954 with Stock or after market air filter and an Akrapovic slip-on and while its running a bit rich at some points in the rev range it certainly feels very strong - I can't wait to get it back on the track to test it properly

Cheers, Spanky.

Re: PCIII USB Installed Yesterday

I have the stock bike map loaded. Also, I have the California model and i don't see any maps on the site for CA. I used the O2 eliminator, so I should be able to run the 49 state map I suppose. Before the PCIII, my bike had great throttle response, it was just "jerky" especially in the low range. The PC seems to have smoothed that issue out. I can't wait to start experimenting with different configurations and maps.
