How many out there still ride an older model Blade (95 and below)? And where do you get most of your parts?

I have a 95. What kind of parts are you looking for? You can get alot of different things off of ebay.
just google what you want or just ask this forum.

Re: Older Model Blade Parts

The majority of parts should still be available from Honda. Try Ron Ayers Motorsports - Discount Motorcycle Parts , or Service Honda Home of the CR500AF - Honda Motorcycle Parts .

Re: Older Model Blade Parts

What exactly are you looking for?

Oh yeah - the frames are identical as are the wheels, fairing mounts, motor mounts, rider seat, and a few other parts on all the CBR900RR models from 1993 - 1999. For instance; You can use a 1994 frame, 1998 Wheels, 1999 Body, 1997 Motor. Everything will bolt right together.

No, but I have thought of getting one. It just so happens that I forget about it and get other things. It hasn't really been high on the priority list.

And never let anyone tell you that you have an outdated bike. I beat a new R-1 a year ago. I honestly thought it was a fluke and or a bad rider. A few days ago in Atlanta I took out another new R-1. I just got rid of a 900 that was set up primarily for drag racing that would give any all motor Busa out there a run for it's money.

I never said my bike was stock though. I only like for others to assume that it is.

Re: Older Model Blade Parts

900,

I am not planning on getting rid of this one, but adding a newer model to the collection towards the end of next year. First i would like to get my skills up a notch or two. In the meantime , mod this one this out.
