Re: Service Manuals

Just wondering if anyone has seen any service manualls written for a 2000 CBR 929. I can't find anything from Clymer or Haynes so I'm thinking I many have to bite the bullet and buy OEM.

Thanks,

Marc

Re: Service Manuals

OEM is better IMHO anyway.

Re: Service Manuals

The OEM (Helm) is definitely better than any Clymer or Haynes books I've ever seen.

Re: Service Manuals

And if you can find an honest dealer, you can buy one for it's retail price of 38.00.

The only non-Honda manual for Fireblade I've seen covers up to year 1999.

I know the Haynes and Clymer aren't good primary documents, but I'd be interested in owning something like that just for general interest and, like my older bike's and car's manuals, perhaps the occasional rare bit of actual useable information.

Re: Service Manuals

I buy an OEM manual for any vehical I get/own (standard operating procedure). It is cheaper than 1 visit to the dealer.
