Re: Has everyone seen the webcast...

It was pretty short...pretty much everything we already know, except a different color (from what we have seen)...they had a red and black that looks like the 600 RR.

1998 CBR900RR - Red - SOLD!!!
2002 CBR954RR - Silver SOLD !!!
2002 CBR954RR - Black SOLD !!!
2005 CR125

Re: Has everyone seen the webcast...

Pretty weak. In none of this do I see a crank HP claimed, nor dry weight, what a letdown

Re: Has everyone seen the webcast...

Interesting how they didn't start it when advertised, eh?
Yeah, I watched the intros a while ago. I clicked my link at like 6:30 or so and it worked. I thought it was gonna be a webcast of the actual dealer show, but it's not.

EDIT: Yeah, booth. It was pretty disappointing from that standpoint. I do think the bike looks better with that wing on it, but they made no mention of specifics. Including MSRP.
I was even more disappointed in the TRX450R intro. Those of us waiting for solid info on it are still left hanging. Here I have a deposit down on mine, and know practically nothing about it.
Oh well, I'll check back at midnight on the Honda site.

Re: Has everyone seen the webcast...

You too? I thought we'd get some live camera feed with the smoke on the stage and all that. Sometimes the mfr's make an escapade at the rollout, that will probably be the case whenver the dealershow starts, I wish we could see that. This was a jip, don't even know what_other_colors we'll get. No phucking weights or power listed either. If you haven't seen it yet don't fret, it's a waste of time.

Re: Has everyone seen the webcast...

i am so happy i didn't pay to see that, the HRCA membership came free w/ the 600rr, i am sure everyone got the one free year at the time of purchase. and i almost considered paying at the one year anniversary. forget that, but i will consider the 1000rr.

Re: Has everyone seen the webcast...

It was lame!

But they said it was the new Superbike platform. So does that mean the RC51 is no longer Factory Honda's Belle of the Ball?

Re: Has everyone seen the webcast...

Anybody catch this blurb'...?

Optional HRC Racing Kit

'As it has for the VTR1000 SP-2 and many of Honda’s other production motorcycles that vie in amateur and world-class racing competition, Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) will be releasing an extensive array of specialised racing engine parts for the new CBR1000RR Fireblade.'
