Re: Fuel Line Problem urgent

Sorry, that link isn't for the 954 (read your profile and saw the F4i).

Look through the index (the 954 is listed under CBR900RR). Maybe there is more detail in the right fiche.

Re: Fuel Line Problem urgent

The two that look like they just hang and don't connect to anything DO just hang and don't connect to anything.
The larger fuel hose with the banjo ends connects to the fuel rail with a banjo bolt and the other is the return from the fuel rail.

A factory service manual would help immensely here.

not really sure why Ab gave you a link to an F4 when you have a 954.

little hose from the T connector goes into the fitting on the tank. I believe the other hose thats a little bigger goes onto the fuel pump. hose with brass fiting goes from the fuel rail to the pump and attaches with a banjo bolt. not sure about the 4th, its been awhile.it should be another small one the same size as the one off the T.

if you can't convince them, confuse them.

ok I went out and tried to look up in there but couldn't really see too much (and its too much work to take the damper off to lift up the tank). then I remembered I have the service manual.

large tube is the overflow tube and connects to the bottom of the tank. next to that is a smaller tube, thats the air vent tube (I think thats the one that goes to the T). The fuel return tube goes onto the fuel pump and has a clamp on it, the other end goes to some metal thingy on the left side of the bike just behind the frame and aitbox (so I assume that one should show signs of it having a clamp on the end). then there's the big fuel line with brass blocks on the end that goes from the fuel pump to the fuel rail.

hope that helps.

edit: one of the hoses from the T goes to the bottom of the tank, the other 2 vent to air (one runs all the way to the bottom of the bike)

if you can't convince them, confuse them.
