What have u done to keep the HTEV open?

Waiting on HASS to get more eliminators in production, meanwhile I would like to keep the HTEV in the open position. What have you guys done to accomplish this?

Re: What have u done to keep the HTEV open?

when I had a busted servo motor I just disconnected the lines and safety wired it in the fully open position.

if you can't convince them, confuse them.

Re: What have u done to keep the HTEV open?

take the little chrome cover off of the htev, turn the valve and remove the cables. or remove the cables from the servo end, just make sure you put the servo back to where it was to avoid getting a FI light.

I totaled that bike instead of reconnecting it. and the current bike has a full aftermarket exhaust.

if you can't convince them, confuse them.
