HELP - removing engine mount bolt.

Can anyone please tell me how to remove the engine locking nut on the bottom engine mounting bolt on 1995 893. Ive tried to make an attachment myself from a old socket but just cant seem to get the nut off. Its the only thing stopping me from dropping the engine to put the new one in
