Re: Fireblade Harris Magnum 5

A bit of Scandanavian suspension in the front, and some Italian brakes would be my next mods.

SWEET bike you have already.

After that, Marchesinis.

Re: Fireblade Harris Magnum 5

Nice bike!

If you want turn signals, you can buy a turn signal integrator that works with your brakelight.

Some suggestions:

Replace the fairing/mirror stay with the later model 96-97 stay (you'll need to make a bracket for the tank).
Looks like you already have a full exhaust
+ 1 on the 929/954 Upside down forks
Carbon fibre front fender
VFR750 94-97 single sided swingarm (with concealed brake line)
00-01 RC51 SP1 6 spoke front wheel
Smaller mirrors
Powdercoat your engine cases in the Harley wrinkle black finish
Powdercoat the frame in a candy blue or candy red (make it stand out!)
Michelin Pilot Power tyres
Corbin or Seargent seat
98-99 gauges (or 01-04 F4i gauges if you want a digital speedo - PM me if you want the info you'll need to do this swap).

Heh heh...that funny...with the exception of the candy colour on the frame, these are all the mods I have already done to my bike (95 900RR) that make the bike look newer.

Re: Fireblade Harris Magnum 5

No, I'm never ever going to powdercoat the frame
love it the way it is
maybe change color of the fairing, I'm not sure yet
Thanks everyone for their input, I'll check it out if it's possible to fit the fireblade usd forks. The front is an issue , 16" right now and no light wheels

I live in The Netherlands and by law I don't need indicators for this bike.
Maybe somthing led and integrated with rearlight would look good.

Look at the homemade dash [img]
and the gpz1000rx [img], by Andy my good friend and beauty Magnum 4 he build [img] (and sold)

Put the 17" on there with the forks.

To me, indicators help make sure I don't get rear ended or someone pulling out on front of me; they aren't required by law here either. There are some nice small ones these days that you might be able to integrate well ... I'm personally not a fan of the integrated into the existing brake lights thing, not distictive enough to stand out.

Cool dash and magnum.

Re: Fireblade Harris Magnum 5

Question
Regarding the forks, I just want to slip mine out and slide another in. Can I fit the 00-02 929/954 upside down forks and 17" front wheel on my 93 900RR.
With the 929/954 forks I want to get the 17" wheel as well. In addition I'll have larger rotors and more powerful calipers, I'll be able to run Michelin Pilot Power tires, would be an upgrade

Re: Fireblade Harris Magnum 5

No, the forks will not fit in your bike's triples.
However, an entire front end will bolt right up, new triples and all.
Easier to do, and a better setup.
