1/4 mile times

I had a chance to take my stock 03 954 out and run some passes at the drag strip. I've never run at the drags before and wondered how my times were in comparison to some other members times on the 954.

Here are my times.

PASS1 RT .306 ET 12.141 MPH 119.22
PASS2 RT .090 ET 11.673 MPH 127.03
PASS3 RT .476 ET 12.093 MPH 123.97 Nasty 1st gear wheel lift at the 60' mark had to back off the throttle to keep it from going higher.
PASS4 RT .068 ET 11.701 MPH 124.81 Lifted the front end again in second at mid track was able to ride it out. and get it back down
PASS5 RT .169 ET 11.487 MPH 126.27
PASS6 RT .218 ET 11.583 MPH 126.30

Now I need to get out to the twistes my tire has a definate flatter appearance to it gotta get it rounded back off.

Check out the Drag Racing page. It's great for those discussions. You may also want to investigate using the search feature. I hear it's an amazing tool.

Re: 1/4 mile times

Thank you may I have another swat.

In the excitement of actually going out and driving someplace not on a road where I had no speed limit or cars to worry about I made a noobie mistake. I got it the first post.

You better. Don't make us fellow dragracers hunt you down.

Re: 1/4 mile times

Really not a big dragracer, but it was kind of fun no speed limits no cars and no corners to worry about. Problem is now I got to get to the twisties to try to make my pilot power nice and round again it looks kinda square.

Re: 1/4 mile times

I did 11.17 on my '98 GSXR750 when it was totally stock.
I'd have to dig out the ticket to see what the speed was.
