Headlight mod ' 06 CBR 1000

G'day,
Anyone know what to modify to keep both headlights on when you switch to the dip beam? I have removed both the bulbs, they look the same, & the handbook only calls up one part number for headlight bulbs, so I assume they are the same. I'm a nuts & bolts person, who is not to bright when it comes to electrics. Thanks in advance.

The difference is in the reflector so if you want both lights on you're stuck with one of them pointing in people's eyes.

And then there's this asshole...

Re: Headlight mod ' 06 CBR 1000

Phobiaphobe,
Thanks for that, I rarely ride after dark & useing high beam during the day hasn't produced any unusual hand signals, but it helps to get me seen in the traffic. On the back roads I like to give them a quick head light flash before overtaking, which seems more effective than a turn indicator. If I knew how, it should be possible to install a small switch to return the lights to standard if I got caught & did need to ride after dark, so as not to be too much of a nuisciance

This may be a good option:

Double HeadLights. Good looking! Safer! More efficient!

I have ordered mine yesterday.

Re: Headlight mod ' 06 CBR 1000

I hate that too. I have this bike for 2 weeks now, and I've already lost count of how many people told me thqt only 1 light is on.
That why I ordered this headlight module.
