Well, the only Sidewinder I knew of was the AIM-9 Sidewinder Air to Air Missile. Which I suppose a bike could be in a spectacular accident.

Repeater was probably being a little bit of an ass but there's also some actual advice in there.

there are plenty of top quality exhaust out there. I'm not really sure what the benefits of this sidewinder type system is.

its hard to help when we aren't completely sure what you want. do you just want a pipe that comes down the side of the lower fairing?

if you can't convince them, confuse them.

Re: ANYONE MAKE A SIDEWINDER FOR THE CBR900RR?

No, no one offers a sidewinder of any kind for the CBR900RR. Trust me, I've been down that path.

As for power, the best bet is to go with a Micron or Jardine pipe and leave it in the air. In reality a SideWinder is like running an open exhaust to some degree. In speaking with Brock I was told that the 900RR doesn't have enough displacement to make a pipe like the one you are after affective.

As for the greeting you have recieved here. Get used to it. It's all in good fun. No one here has an issue with you personally, we are just a good group of guys and gals that enjoy life and Hondas. Well, most of us ride Hondas.

Re: ANYONE MAKE A SIDEWINDER FOR THE CBR900RR?

Yes i was being a smarty and also trying to help. sorry to put you off the .org it is a great place. i had my beatings and am still here.

if you want it i would do a moto gp style look i do think a good custom place could hook you up with something clean. it would look sweat as soon as the welds start to blue a bit.

oh and i hope i didn't put you off to this site it is a great home for any motorcyclist.

Re: ANYONE MAKE A SIDEWINDER FOR THE CBR900RR?

Well I spoke with Brock and he does not make anything for a HONDA but I got something for everyone. A 1998 HONDA CBR 900 RR with all 2004 HONDA CBR 1000 RR motor and Electronics. And I just did it this week with putting a Sidewinder on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <a href="Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket" target="_blank"><img src="http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/a...0/100_1360.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a><a href="Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket" target="_blank"><img src="http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/a...0/100_1359.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a>
