Re: 929 POLICE BIKE IN DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

I always wondered why cops don't have those here. If they can have a cop on a bicycle they could put one on a sportbike, and nobody would ever get away from them again.

That said, it could be tough to ride all day day-in and day-out.

Re: 929 POLICE BIKE IN DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

Its kinda hard to haul a crim to jail on, for normal patrol it wouldnt be the best but for doing highway enforcement it would be awsome. you could hide anywhere and it would be hard for someone to out run you. Well it would be hard to talk on the radio at the same time but lets not be picky

If you fall off a HD your chances of survival are much better since they hardly go over 45 mph. Plus you can carry a lot more donuts on the hard bags...

With the right equipment, talking on the radio at high speeds is no problem. My system does great noise cancelling into triple digits (advertised to 120mph) and can swith from ppt, to VOX, to open mic all from the left hand grip ... never taking the hand off the bar. Pursuit becomes a snap

But don't the bounce around more?

And you might carry less of those round energy bars, but you'd be able to go from one source tot he other that much faster
