Anyone Tried These Sliders?

I have been trying to find some no cut sliders and I keep finding Shogun but it seems no one is a big fan of them. I was wondering if anyone has tried these. eBay Motors: Delrin Honda CBR1000RR CBR 1000RR No Cut Frame Sliders (item 230076587506 end time Jan-17-07 08:27:40 PST) I have emailed them a they manufacture them in house. Opinions?

Re: Anyone Tried These Sliders?

Seems to me that if the bike falls the wrong way on them, the bracket will turn around the mounting bolt, making them less effective.

That's what I'm kind of thinking. There are some white Shoguns on epay now for $24.99 but they are white.

Re: Anyone Tried These Sliders?

Do NOT get those sliders. I got the exact same ones for my 954. The quality sucks. They're so freaking thin and fragile looking, i doubt they'll hold up in the slowest lay down. They're so thin i can bend them with my fingers! Garbage! Get anything BUT these sliders.

Thanks for the info. Think I will pass on these.

Re: Anyone Tried These Sliders?

I'm really trying to avoid cutting the fairings but that's what I might end up having to do. I found another set of no cuts but have never heard of them. Anybody have any experience with these or know anything about them?

Re: Anyone Tried These Sliders?

i just saw a pair of vartex sliders on ebay tonight. he is offering 4 total, 1 used but new condition (black), 1 rashed (black), 1 new replacement (black), 1 new (white).
iirc, the bidding is at 5.99 +10 to ship. bidding ends in about 20hrs. sorry for no link, but im lazy to dig it back up.

i meant vortex, not vartex as above.

Re: Anyone Tried These Sliders?

If you're going to do no-cuts, stay away from shogun; trust me I saw how well they hold up in a crash. I was about an 1/8th of an inch away from dropping my motor. Go Lightech or I believe Motivation makes some as well.
