Re: 929 maintenance + storage

Are you going to hurt the bike by changing the oil now? No

Should you put in a fuel stabilizer when storing the bike? Yes

Re: 929 maintenance + storage

always start the bike before changing oil or else it sits and all the oil drains and then when you start it it has to prime the oil filter first and meanwhile you bike runs for a short time with no oil pumping.

Re: 929 maintenance + storage

I wouldn't worry about the fuel in just 3-months. fill it with fresh fuel and give it a roosting!!

Re: 929 maintenance + storage

I like to fill my oil filter and let the media get completely soaked before I put it on. usually filling it all the way once and letting it sit for a few minutes so it all gets absorbed will do the trick.

if you can't convince them, confuse them.
