Frankenlitre

I couldn't resist the title

This guy is installing a 1000RR powerplant into a 900RR. The swingarm is dog butt ugly but the rest is cool. I guess the stock airbox wouldn't work so he welded up his own out of aluminum sheet.

I found it over on CBR Forum on the web.

Re: Frankenlitre

Interesting.

But why bother. Just put a 997 Wiseco kit in the 900RR motor.

Alternatively, it would be cheaper to just buy a 1000RR complete bike.

Re: Frankenlitre

I don't know why. He said it hasn't cost that much to do. It does look odd seeing that engine in there. There's a guy in Sweden that has a Blackbird engine in a 900RR and it has late model fairings on it ... looks kinda strange. Says he knows Patrick ( Ghostrider)... yeah yeah.
