Heavy front end feel after start/stop in heavy traffic
Just before I post my question I would just like to say that I've been keeping my eyes on this forum for the past few months and I've found it really informative now that I've got my own Fireblade, bought it off my dad who's nearing 60!
The problem I'm having is that when I'm in heavy traffic, in other word lots of start/stop and slipping the clutch in between the cars, the front end start to feel heavier.
Its a strange feeling (might just all be in my head!) and it continues until I pick up a bit of speed and then I don't notice it as much, although its still there. The only thing I can compare it to is a steering damper which I had fitted to my previous bike, an Aprilia RS125, the steering is just tightened up.
I don't think its the head bearings as the bike has never (yep, never!) been wheelied although I am begining to suspect that the pads, which have got about 14k miles on them, are dragging along the rotors.
