Resistors

I just bought a clear alternatives taillight. It says to mount the resistors in a place away from paint and plastic because it gets warm? What have you all done? The only thing i can think of is zip-tie it to the metal cross bar...but that is plastic too. Thanks

Re: Resistors

You dont need to install them....only if you want to slow the blinker rate down. I almost think the fast blinder rate makes the blinkers more visible.

Re: Resistors

I left mine blinking at the fast rate, too, after purchasing and installing resistors from RadioShack. They got way too hot and it made me nervous, so I uninstalled them. If I decide I want to slow the rate down, I'll get one of those integrators of some sort, Libertek I think is one company that makes them. They're pricey, but better than my bike going up in flames!
