Quiet Exhaust? 04' 1000RR

Is the stock exhaust the quietest?

Re: Quiet Exhaust? 04' 1000RR

are you wanting something quieter? i had a D&D on my R6 and it could be heard from miles. when i traded it in to get my CBR i was amazed at how quiet the stock exhaust was. i didn't upgrade and buy a bad ass bike to sound like i was stradling a moped through town.

stock exhuast has to go

Re: Quiet Exhaust? 04' 1000RR

Honestly I don't know what it sounds like yet. I just bought the thing, but I'm in Iraq so I don't get to hear it or ride it for four more months--Aaaggghhhh. But the girl I bought it from says it's louder then any bike she's ever seen. I just don't want my ass to go numb from riding it two miles. And the stock exhaust is better looking, then this big can sticking out the back end.

Re: Quiet Exhaust? 04' 1000RR

I have probably heard every type of exhaust there is. There is nothing more quiet than a normal, stock exhaust system.
