Exhaust

Who makes the best exhaust for 1000RR? I've heared Yoshi from a lot of people but isnt that a Suzuki base exhaust. I also have a friend that swears by Akropovic. I've seen and heard a Jardine dual outlet and I like the look but not so much the sound. I also found D&D on line and really like how it looks and sounds ( via internet ). I just want to make sure I'm getting what I pay for before I make the $500 plunge. ANY help is appreciated!!

Re: Exhaust

it sounds good, but for horse power, no way. But thats for full systems. For slip-ons a 2-5 hp may be gained. Full systems like Sato or Arata a gain of 9-12 hp can be gained with proper mapping when using a power commander. Actually either should be used with a power commander. Maps can be obtained at 1000rr.net or at a shop with a dyno.
