PLEASE HELP Front for dampener adjustment snapped!!!

ok i got a question...
Does anybody know the little dampener adjustment screw thing on the top of the forks???
Is that a separate little peice or is that the whole rod that goes down threw there because I just snapped that little peice off not even a quarter in down in there...
Im really scared because ive called dealer ships and stuff and they dont know anything...the only thing they said was i would probably have to buy the whole rod that goes down threw there.. and its like $405!!!!!

OUCH!!!
It's the whole damper rod assembly. And it's about $290.00
Maybe Dan Kyle might have a used spare for you.
