dash cluster
when i activate the brake....to foot or lever, the dash lights and tach light up

I need a dash for a 1982 Honda Sabre 750 or a dash schematic so I can resolder four wires that were ripped out of the bottom.

Jerry H, I think you posted in the wrong thread. This is the Fireblade forum mate. No Sabre 750 info in here!
Icon, yup, it is a wire harness issue. Some aspect of the wiring system that is common to the braking system (front and rear brakes) is connecting with the dash lighting system.
Doesn't the 954 dash lighting stay on when you start the bike? You need to get ahold of the 954 wiring schematic, and trace the wires to see where a junction of the two wires might meet up.
Was your bike in an accident? Was it once a race bike?
