2001 fireblade 929 fault codes

Hi does anybody have a list of fault codes for the pgmfi system fitted to the 2001 fireblade. The bike has been stood up for 18 months and now wont start and i am getting variose fault codes. First was 35, now its 18? Any help would be much apriciated. It turns over but is not firing, fuel pump running but no spark.

Re: 2001 fireblade 929 fault codes

Code 18 is the cam pulse generator (bike won't run) and Code 35 is a faulty EGCV and air intake valve servo motor (bike will run).

Thanks for that i will have a look at the cam sensor and connections, i have freed up the exhaust valve that was siezed but i think the servo motor has stripped its teeth.

Re: 2001 fireblade 929 fault codes

you have to make sure you index the servo or you will throw up fault codes as well. put the key in and turn the servo till the light goes out.
