06-07 1000RR on dyno - results?

I'm not too concerned with the numbers, because I like it just how it is and wouldn't change a thing. Just wondering what the 06-07 1000RR would do on a dyno in stock trim without mapping, slip ons, etc...?

I'd guess:

HP: 140 - 145 at wheel
Torque: 74-76 at wheel

Sound about right? Where's peak output, 10k rpm?

Check out the attached image which came from the Motorcyclist magazine website (see the perfomance data section). Shows an '06 CBR1000 develops 158.8 hp and 79.6 ft-lb of torque.

The 06-07 1000RR's are quite a bit stronger then the predecessor 04-05's I believe. Actually have similar numbers to my 06 Gixxer 1000 other then the top end.

Not too mention that I personally feel that the 06-07 Honda's are the best looking of the Liter bikes. I bought a Gixxer cause it fit me best w/ the low seat height. I'm 5'6!

I sat on an 07 Black in the showroom and it positively rocked! Doesn't fit me as well as my Zuk, but as far as looks, the all black is awesome. Of course Honda fit and finish is always #1.

Re: 06-07 1000RR on dyno - results?

the best looking bike it is. but didn't know that fireblade is near to gixxer 1000 k6. everybody is saying like it has the less hp etc. and its not agressive as others.

my friend has kawi 636 ninja and he said to me: why did you buy honda, it has less hp. you should have bought zx10...its the beast. then i gave him fireblade to try it on the highway...he came back pale as a ghost. he said: i don't ever want 1000 bike. its to strong and to big.every 1000 is a beast.

Re: 06-07 1000RR on dyno - results?

lool, i went up against a gixxer 1K on the street, and i pulled from him, i slowed down at bout 120 mph, and watched him fly by.

the differences in liter bikes is very minimal, it really comes down to the rider.

Re: 06-07 1000RR on dyno - results?

i ran into an 07 gsxr 1k on the street . we ran from a dig and i pulled him first second and third gear till about 130 and i let off cause we were on university. he did the ricer fly by thing. my buddy was amazed since he swears that gsxr's are the fastest bikes. i think i just performed better on that night.

Re: 06-07 1000RR on dyno - results?

yeah i agree i have an 06 1kRR and when i had it strecthed i let my girl ride it against one of my boys 05 zx10, they weight bout the same, (I'm 275lbs) and she pulled away in second and he shift down to 1st and he couldn't pass her for nothing and they reached bout 175. But with me on their i'll get the first jump but with my weight, he comes pass me 110mph. So HONDA rule!!!!! and they last longer than most!!!!!!!!
