Error code

Hi is there any one to help.
I have CBR929RR Hi-vix 2001 Uk model
When i start the bike after 1 minute i get from the dash FI 3 long ones and 5 short ones flashes of the red light.
Ive checked the hi-vix servo and valve and they work on another bike.
What else can be.
Thank you

Re: Error code

The problem can be of the ECM. Try in other bike your ECM.

Re: Error code

Thank you for the advice but i think the ECM is linked with the ignition key for each bike.

Re: Error code

The servo works????
if yes is there something jamming up the htev valve keeping it from turning?
does the servo turn on your bike with the cables disconnected? That should clear the error.

Ok cables disconnected and servo not working on your bike but does another bike means bad plug/wire connection on your bike.

Yes it is euro models have H.I.S.S. Would need ECU and Key from another bike to test this on your bike is all.

Re: Error code

#1 even with htev eliminated or wired wide open he will still want the servo connected so the FI light is not on all the time so he might as well trouble shoot and fix it.

#2 HISS disconnection is not an option unless he buy's a U.S. model ECU
