exup valve

Hi it looks like my exup valve is knackered again! Does anyone know if the item from the later 954 blade will fit my 929?? I can get one from a breakers but the 929 item uis like rocking horse sh*t!

just take it off and get a full exhaust, or get an HTEV eliminator

EXUP is the same thing as the HTEV just on a yamaha,

Oakley, i'm in Clearwater also.Where you go riding at ? You ever go to Gulf to Bay lot on Saturday nights ?

anyone got good photos of an HTEV ? I'd like to see what all the fuss is about these units. Thankfully the old 900rr did not have one.

found this. The cables go up and hook to a servo that opens and closes the flaps inside the exhaust.

EXUP actually stands for EXhaust Ultimate Powervalve. Just thought you should know.

I HAVE A 2001 HONDA 929.I DRAG RACE. SHOULD I TAKE OFF THE VALVE IN MY AIR BOX AND EXHAUST TO GET MORE HORSEPOWER OR SHOULD I LEAVE BOTH ON? I HAVE A SLIP ON EXHAUST AND I RUN A 30 SHOT OF DRY NITROUS. CAN ANYONE GIVE ME SOME GOOD INFO. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME.

Hey Man what's up?
We usually get together with a few others a couple times a month and ride. most of the time we go for about 150-200 miles. My wife and I do go to the lot on sat. nights look for us the next time your there. I'm on a white & red 929, w/factory replica jacket, wife rides a black & purple f-2 w/black icon jacket..

Could anyone tell me what do you do when you install full exhaust system. The EGCV valve and the controller which also controls the flap valve?
