Re: Sticky clutch?

I have the same problem with my 954.
It has been doing it since I bought it.
I would also like to know how to fix this!

Re: Sticky clutch?

OK i fixed the problem, it was the clutch adjustment, just go ahead and lossen the screw on your clutch side lever and stick it out farther. It basicly needs more slack to pull, im not very tecnical so if anyone can offer some more insight pls post.

thanks
Mark

Re: Sticky clutch?

Try the clutch adjustment.
To give you an idea, place your pinky finger to the outside of the clutch lever, you want the free play to allow the lever to travel from the finger tip to about the 1st knuckle, maybe just a hair more.
Or use a ruler and measure about 25-30mm play!

Re: Sticky clutch?

or alternatively you should be able to place a 10 cent piece (or what ever is the equivalent over there ) between the lever and the perch, basically as long as there is some free play and also check that the free play remains when the bars are turned from lock to lock, hope this helps.
