Another photo of the 2008 CBR1000 is doing the rounds. Not long to wait, sooner or later we are going to be put out of our misery!

& keeping the swing-arm black

I can't dig the ram-air ducts, unless they provide 10 more horse power!

Re: 2008 CBR1000 RR - Another Photo

Here's the real deal guys. I'm not quite sure what to make of it yet. Guess we'll have to see all angles. Apparently it's all new from the frame up. Notice the engine case difference. Engine performance is also kicked up a notch. Compression is up from 12.2 to 12.5 I believe as well. The round Honda badge on the tank is retro and currently used on the RC212V Moto GP bike. Here's a link and a hi-res pic for you.

Re: 2008 CBR1000 RR - Another Photo

I've had this info since Sep 7th. and some info was posted on another thread in General Discussion. Just passed it along for those who haven't seen it. This photo blows up better too! Don't be so sensitive.

Re: 2008 CBR1000 RR - Another Photo

I was hoping for something that resembled your 600RR but guess not. Sorry but IMO, that thing is a big step back from the "good looking" 06-07 CBR 1000rr.

It better kick ass or sales could go in the tank.

It sounds like you're being sensitive. Not my fault that someone beat you to the punch. I was just letting you know that the photo is already up here. Don't see the point of having three of the same threads going on. Went up in post #1 on Sep 5th and then both colors in post #52 of the same thread on Sep 7th (and they blow up if that's a big deal and they don't have MCN's crap spread over the top of them.)
