sounds like you blew the head gasket. check your coolant level and check your oil. if you're coolant is low and your oil looks milky its a head gasket.

if you can't convince them, confuse them.

what you checked is the valve cover gasket. thats not the problem. the gasket I suspect thats bad is the one between the head and cylinder block. you have to pull the motor to get the head off to replace that one. I suggest once you check the oil to see if its milky, take it to a shop if it is. its probably gonna be a good bill to fix it. the gasket I'm talking about is #3 here

I don't know what hole you're talking about. can you find it in the fiche

Re: one more problem please read

thanks for the info i guess i was looking at the wrong gasket. i'll pull off the upper part to check the gasket, i'll check the oil to see if its milky, if it is, what would you recommend, take it to the shop and let them rip my two eyes and a leg off or buy an engine from ebay?

Re: one more problem please read

could have broken a ring, if you have fuel sitting on top of the valves you could have a bad fuel press reg which will make it appear to be smoking although it is actually raw fuel dumping out the pipe

Re: one more problem please read

yeah that what i saw, i looked at the "holes" and i saw two valves and they were like half full of gas. the valves are upside down like the flat side facing down i just saw two of them in the 3rd "hole" half full of gas, the other holes 1,2,4, look ok no gas on them. so the pressure regulator is the thing at the end of the fuel rail right? the raw fuel dumping thing could have been the reason for engine shut off?

You will be a lucky man if it is just a FPR. They are only about $70. Is there a sure fire way to check the FPR? Remove and just suck through it from small to big not from big to small.

Re: one more problem please read

Have you looked at the oil yet? Don't go looking for other small problems without trying to eliminate the main ones first.

Also, if you don't know what the "holes" are, I'm not sure I would reccomend trying to redo the headgasket yourself. It's a fairly major job. Ebay engine might be a better option.

this is what i thought, too. tons of blow-by manifest itself like grey/white smoke. but, check your oil first!
