Power Upgrade Help

I just got my 96 900 back from the shop (after 2months) after having crank case issues. I am looking to get more power from it though. I have an after market slip on pipe. I am looking to add some more parts and get an understanding of how much bhp it will add. Any help is welcome. Thanks

Re: Power Upgrade Help

Read the thread "moto gp restyle" or something like that. Sime details a lot of power option for the 900RR that he has on his bike.

I have a 1998 CBR 900 and had Flatslides and head work and cams and full yoshi rs-3 exhaust and that combo worked good. I just recently put and all 2004 CBR1000 motor and everything down to the key switch in it. it works good.

NICE. I love the 900RRs style. One with a modern mill in it would be perfect. Did you have to fab anything make it work like mounts?

Yes the front plates the inside of the frame by the head the mid plates and the offset fromleft to right was all different. Then you had to cut the stock tanks and put the pump in them and the fuel rails have to be notch out of the tank to go up in. A months worth of work but it is done ALL 2004 CBR1000RR Controls Dash Motor you name it it is there.

I got a wrecked bike for 2500.00 and took everything but the frame ,forks, rear sub frame, and rims. I did all the fitting myself and had a shop do all the welding so that portion was about 1000.00 in welding the frame and gas tank. Then buying a headder and powercommander. It was just a lot of fitting.
