Quick Action Throttle

Hi Guy,s

Thought I,d ake here before I look elsewhere but has anyone fitted a quick action throttle to their road bike???

I know they,re available for Track bikes when you can remove the switch gear but I have not seen any that will still allow the use of the standard switches??

Has anyone thought about altering the throttle cable guide at the throttle bodies (I expect a fabricated cam would have to be made??)

Re: Quick Action Throttle

You can get an HRC 1/6 action throttle that fits the stock switchblock from Online Store I have one fitted on my 180 hp 1000RR and can ride it around town no problemo.

Re: Quick Action Throttle

easier to superglue a cable tie around the throtle barel on the clipon. Give your cables some slack to take the thicker barrel.

Better still, spend about a 100 bucks and get a proper quick action throtle and some used switchgear from the 1000rr on ebay. they go quite cheap... Thats how I did it on my 954.
