Cannot remove my rear wheel shaft, 954

I'm changing tyres on my 954, got the front done but am having trouble pulling out my rear wheel shaft, its not budging. Advise?

I went through the same thing about a month ago.I had to bang the **** out of it to get it out.I mucked up my threads so I had to grind off a couple of threads to get the bolt back on.

use a rubber mallet so you don't damage stuff

if you can't convince them, confuse them.

And put a light coat of grease on the axle when you put it back together, otherwise it will happen again.

+1...you can also use a socket the same diameter as the axle if it gets stuck inside.

All of the above + put a wodden block or something under the tire to take the weight of the wheel off the axle to make it come out easier.

The wooden dowel should be made of the hardest wood you can find - I use purpleheart, but thats not common in the US. With a good greasing on re-assembly it'll slide right out next time.
