CBR900RR(X) carb sync.

Hi,

I have 1999 CBR900RR. I just checked the valves, all in specs, and on my way to install new plugs and air filter.
To finalize the job I also plan to do to carb sync, and looked quickly to those Keihin carbs and i saw no clear places to attach carb sync gauges.

Forum search i found :
"There are 2 fittings already built in (#2 and #4). #2 is the vacuum line that connects to the petcock on the fuel tank. #4 is just capped and a bit hard to see. #1 and #3 have torx bolts in them.

Once you follow the vacuum line and disconnect it from #2, you'll have a better idea of where to find the others."

Really, this is a sound advice to find those locations?

Re: CBR900RR(X) carb sync.

are you telling us, or asking us? Either way it sounds right.

I think once you see where the petcock vacuum pipe attaches at the carbs you'll work out the others with some ease.

Mine never had torque screws though iirc, they were just ordinary screws or bolts.

Thanks, i took carbs away since i noticed 1th and 4th were a bit loose, and dirt around the necks:
Dirty carbs doen dirt cheap....

Yes, the connections to sync tool are at cylinder head, below the carbs.
