Re: Has anyone tried this?

On there website they talk about modding the AirBox Flapper and the RAM air ducts. Any one try this here? I was wondering what you did, and if you noticed improvement.

Re: Has anyone tried this?

They also say that the 929 comes with a full Ti system

There's no such animal as a stock 929 with RAM air. Or a 954 for that matter. Or a 1000RR, apparently.

Re: Has anyone tried this?

Taz installed the Hard Racing 'RAM' Air (or an equivilent) and thought it made an improvement. This is really been discussed at length in the past, but basically boils down to the Blade liking some additional 'Cool' airflow, as the stock 929/954 get their intake air in a rather warm place.

Re: Has anyone tried this?

I put their ducts on with Sharkskins so I had to trim them a tad. I also did the flapper mod (trimmed all the useless plastic and posts off the lower part of the box as well since I bought another airbox). With it all in place and their map it runs well, no dips etc. I do have an Erion exhaust on it too.
