Re: Fireblade 08 - Aftermarket Exhaust

Hi Pilotguy027

They dont as such, got mine painted when I ordered it, think it will be the first repsol RR8 in the UK as its the first one by Dream Machine, who do the majority of paint jobs for GP's, WSB, and BSB.

Should (Fingers Crossed!) be collecting tomorrow, and will post pictures then.

Regards

Wayne

Wayne

Had a lid painted by Dream Machine years ago, top quality stuff those guys do.

If you don't mind me being nosy, what do they charge for a full bike paint job ? Or was it part of the deal with the dealer ?

Cheers

Re: Fireblade 08 - Aftermarket Exhaust

Honda are due to do a Hanspree blade later in the year as I understand it and repsols will be out at some point, nice choice in dream machine they are the nuts, my m8 has had his 848 done in a stoner rep scheme and it looks great.

Re: Fireblade 08 - Aftermarket Exhaust

The only problem with the Taylormade is its only a slip on...and its over $900.

Re: Fireblade 08 - Aftermarket Exhaust

It is nice...but damn thats a lot of money. I would buy the slip on if they create a full system that I can retrofit the slip on to and if it makes good power.

It really seems that the technology in the stock exhaust works, and in his words, only change the can if you want less power and more noise.

Enough said.
No offense to you but your dealer is a fookin idiot. Here are two charts from the same bike. The first chart is stock shown as blue=5th gear and green = 6th. Sorry the tach pickup was not working.
The second chart is with pump gas, a full Leo Vince system and Bazzaz Z-FI system. Custom map. The red line at the top of the second chart is a drawn in guess for the custome what we can get the power to look like once it is figured out how to work with the ignition up top.

Re: Fireblade 08 - Aftermarket Exhaust

No numbers on the Taylormade yet. Will let you know when I hear somthing. I dont think any of the slipons are making any high gains. Stock is pretty good.
